HSPCA’s mission is to save, protect and improve the lives of animals, while strengthening the relationship between pets and their human companions.
Because we knew we could accomplish more together than as independent agencies, Animal Haven and No More Homeless Pets KC officially merged on June 15, 2011 to form HSPCA. Little did we know, our combined resources would change the lives of nearly 18,000 pets during the first year and even more human companions.
Sharing our mission in action would not have been possible without the generosity and expertise of Drew Eldridge, who created a true piece of art that shares what it means to be a hero for pets and a partner for life. The video was initially presented at our HSPCA Martinis Gala 2012: We Heart the ’80s, and it will continue to share our story for time to come!
