Gentry

Gentry is a little man in a dog’s body. His ideal home would include a big screen for football games, plenty of frosty beverages and nachos!!! While nachos are his favorite, he would really like any form of appetizer. He is ready to help you cheer on the Chiefs! Wise beyond his years, he’s mastered sit and stay. Stay is definitely his favorite. Come and meet this charming, comical gentleman.

  1. Do know if Gentry is good with cats and kids?

  2. Veronica Carter Posted July 26, 2010 at 12:07 pm
  3. Thanks for asking about Gentry, Veronica! He’s a great dog very deserving of a loving family. Gentry would most likely do well with respectful children, but we don’t think he would do as well with cats. He is a little too interested in his kitty counterparts. Please let us know if you have any more questions about Gentry or any of our adoptable dogs.

  5. What breed is Gentry? His head in this picture looks Cardigan Corgi–but just checking. My 14 year old Pembroke died a few months ago and I am starting to look for another dog. Is Gentry housebroken? Thanks for the info.

  7. Gentry is an All-American Shelter Dog. We are not sure what mix of breeds Gentry is, but he could be part Corgi. He is housebroken, Janeen. Please let us know if you have any more questions about Mr. Gentry. He’s a wonderful dog!

  9. He looks like a great little dog. Being housebroken is a huge thing. I have to be gone for a week or so and will check back when I get back. Thanks.

  11. I have a Pembroke male 7 years old, wonderful dog, house broke, loving. I have lost all my family at home and am required to travel extensively for work. It just doesn’t seem fair to Angus (my dog) he needs a loving home. If Janeen is still looking

  23. I have been spending a lot of time with Gentry lately as a volunteer. He is a fantastic dog. I took him over to my mothers house today for a little field trip. She has a fenced in yard and he really had a good time running around. If any one has any questions about him, please let me or someone at the shelter know.
