Peggy is your typical pound puppy — a true Heinz 57. We had her DNA tested and the test results showed her as being no significant breed but she has Akita DNA (at least 25%) + some Dalmatian and Golden Retriever DNA. All we know is Peggy is highly intelligent, affectionate, thrives on human companionship and LOVES her toys (extremely playful). Peggy has been spending time in a foster home. She is well behaved in the home and wants to please. Peggy is house trained/kennel trained, enjoys car rides, fast pace walks, sun baths and numerous toys. She is not a barker unless there is something to bark at which so far has been the sound of the garage door going up (someone is coming home!). Peggy can be wary of some strangers (which we are working on) so she should be in a home without children. Peggy is a joy to teach commands (very treat motivated). So far she responds to sit, off, down, drop it and wait. Peggy is 1 – 2 years old and 53 pounds of kisses.
